Melissa Biscardi is a concussion focused clinician, educator, researcher and tech innovator. She prides herself on a comprehensive and collaborative approach, which drives consistent positive results for patients suffering from post concussion - including recent concussion, chronic concussion, or legacy concussion. Following concussion recovery, Melissa aims to support a brain healthy life, and neuroperformance. Melissa believes that concussion recovery is not the end goal, instead, supporting life long neuroperformance is.
Melissa has extensive training in concussion management and applied neurology. Her Master of Science was the first study of its kind to focus on anti-mullerian hormone in women after concussion. Her PhD work integrated virtual reality and oculomotor rehabilitation after concussion. When not in the clinic she can be found mentoring other clinicians, speaking at conferences and developing accessible technologies, such as the Brain Tool Kit mobile application for iOS and Android.
